Kevin has taught and led in Christian Schools from British Columbia to Ontario for over 25 years, always keen on leadership, school improvement, coaching, and governance.

Participating in and leading strategic planning, Kevin has experienced firsthand the value that a good plan, well executed, can have in transforming schools and organizations.

Kevin has experience guiding challenging community conversations, supporting Christian School leaders, serving on school support organizations and higher education boards, rebranding, capital projects, and speaking/leading in multiple education conference settings across Canada and the United States.  His management experience is being leveraged in teaching at the School of Business at Niagara College.

The concept of ‘WITH’ describes Kevin’s leadership posture, drawing on restorative practices based on aboriginal justice/teachings, faith communities, criminal justice, and the alternative dispute resolution movement.

Kevin holds an MA from the Institute for Christian Studies, is a Fellow of the VanLunen Center for Executive School Management, and is an Ontario-certified teacher.

He lives in Smithville with his wife, Karin, a Registered Midwife turned office administrator, and their four teen/young adult children, who come and go as school and work move them.

Kevin is known for his curiosity, calm presence, strategic thinking, and bold implementation.

His favourite thing in the world is hiking.
